Don't get too excited, it's just an under the hood thing, but if you are on the Windows 10 Mobile Insiders Programme then note that there's a Insider Fast Configuration Update rolling out. This, in conjunction with the existing Windows Insiders application, will make sure that you continue to get the Insiders builds.

The download is tiny, so don't expect anything new in terms of changes to the OS. Mind you, it still all takes a few minutes to spin the gears and run the usual migrations and optimisations. Go off and make a cup of tea etc.!

The update presumably prepares each device for the next phase of the Insiders Programme - this is bound to change slightly as we get closer to release. Anyway, just install it.

One tip worth mentioning is that it's worth going back into the Windows Insider application and choosing the 'Fast ring' updates all over again - this makes sure that your preference is saved properly - I've seen cases where this got lost and a user sat around for a week wondering why he wasn't getting the same updates as everyone else!
