First available for Windows Phone 8.1 and then rebuilt for Windows 10 as a UWP application some time ago, Trakter has been recently updated and I thought it worth highlighting here. Essentially, it keeps track of what's on TV and where and then reminds you as needed. For telly addicts everywhere?

Browsing TV shows and exploring the hamburger-driven interface - it's not entirely standard Windows 10, but it's polished.

Delving into a show's episodes, keep track of what you have and haven't watched, and so on; (right) there's a wealth of extra stuff for every TV show, including images (here) and reviews.

The UWP nature is fully-fleshed out too, here showing via  Continuum display from a Lumia 950, but also working in the same way on tablet and on laptop, Xbox, etc.

There are some in app purchases, mainly one for £1.50 which unlocks the premium features: marking multiple episodes as 'watched', background syncing, and the all-important 'notifications'. In fact, you can get this for half price if you're already a trakt.tv VIP/supporter.
