Nokia's Snake is one of those casual games that everyone has as a guilty pleasure, perhaps a memory of happy times on a pre-millennium feature phone. And since this is Friday and I'm allowed a game or two, I wanted to note that someone's gone and implemented Snake as a PWA, playable with swipe gestures in the browser.

The game's pretty simple, but plays as you expect. All you've got to do is go to snake-pwa.github.io in your phone's web browser. Edge runs this pretty well, with swipe gestures and not too much lag in the response of the game code:

Trivial, perhaps, but hey, it's worth bookmarking as a free and casual game. And no doubt there are other games implemented in Javascript and HTML5 also worth adding to your PWA bookmark directory. Any recommendations?
