Curable PWA helps you work through the pain...

Published by at

One of the slickest PWAs (Progressive Web Applications) I've yet seen, this is a pseudo-chatbot front end for loads of free 'Curable' content on the subject of managing symptoms, working through pain and even reversing it. It's superbly done and well worth a look, even if you think that 'Clara' is a big cheesy now and then!

From the Appscope listing:

Take control over chronic pain with the Curable app. Let our smart coach, named Clara, guide you through the latest pain science in fun, easy-to-understand audio lessons that will help you learn what is happening in your body and how to reverse the cycle of pain.

The URL to tap on or type is curablehealth.com/clara . If you have trouble with typing that (or if your ISP messes it up, use the direct link from Appscope and then bookmark that, etc.)

Of course, you can turn this into an 'app' yourself with PAWA or just pin it 'as is' on your Start screen. It's up to you.

Here's Curable in action - and note the central curiosity in that it presents a 'virtual iPhone' as its main UI!:

Working through the chat bot UI - it's done VERY well and handles text and number input, keyboard dismissal and screen scaling perfectly.

The core audio 'lessons' play in Edge under Windows 10 Mobile in a darkish theme (think darkened room), there's a text transcript if you need it, and the chat bot talks you through signing in, describing your main pain symptom and then into the lessons you might need.
