In this gallery, we kick off our review coverage of the Samsung Omnia M by offering a visual tour of Samsung's mid tier Windows Phone 7.5 device. The Samsung Omnia M has already launched in a number of European countries and is also available in India. Key specifications include a 4-inch Super AMOLED screen, 1 GHz processor, 384MB of RAM, 5 megapixel camera and 4GB of internal storage.

The Omnia M has a lovely clear screen, comparable with the Lumia 800's
Notice the way the back and Bing search icons are dark almost all the time (they only light when pressed)
The main Windows 'key' is a reflective logo and doesn't light at all - but it is visible in almost all light conditions
The Omnia M has clean lines and very decent build quality
The side-mounted power/wake button, very handily placed for a right hand thumb to press
The speaker sits beside the camera and is protected by a little plastic notch
The speaker up close, and the camera aperture/LED flash
The back peels off in the usual 2012 style to reveal a full size SIM slot and a large, replaceable battery
Here I'm using my microSIM in an adaptor - no danger of getting this stuck in such an open design here!
The Omnia M retail box
Bare bones contents - note the lack of a headset of any kind...
The bevelled panels top and bottom are textured for better grip and feel
The standard microUSB data and charging port
Size-wise, the Omnia M is right in the 4" screen sweet spot - no complaints here
Feel in the hand is pretty superb
Despite the larger screen (4" vs 3.7"), the Omnia M manages to keep the same form factor as the popular Lumia 800
