"Windows Phone is elegant, smooth, intuitive, practical and extremely fun to use"

Robert Johnson's guest editorial on BetaNews is an interesting read as he's a new user of Windows Phone (specifically the HTC Titan). It's another "wowsers, Microsoft have done something sexy! That works!" post, but I doubt any platform would not want to see these. At the same time there is a lot of constructive feedback on the weak areas of Windows Phone, so we hope Microsoft is paying as much attention to those as the positive headlines.

Here's his thoughts on one of the main principles in Metro UI and Windows Phone:

Microsoft marketing takes a "people first", "glance-and-go" approach to Windows Phone. I am here to tell you it’s true. Windows Phone really does make people a priority. I'll explain. Phones are used to primarily interact with human beings: we text, make phone calls and interact on social networks. I had heard for the past year how Windows Phone makes interacting with people tons easier than the other platforms. Having used it in real world experiences for the first time I can actually say it’s true.

HTC Titan

Steve has reviewed the HTC Titan here on All About Windows Phone, so you can compare his review to Johnson's. Bottom line is the hnadset is a good handest, and Windows Phone as an OS, once people actually use it, is a revelation
