Service notice for AAWP app

Published by at

An unanticipated issue with the AAWP app, caused by a problem with the server side service element, may cause the app to crash on start up. The issue has now been fixed, but if you used the AAWP app during the last few hours you may be affected. Unfortunately, the only way to prevent the app crashing is to uninstall and then re-install the app. We apologise for any inconvenience caused, but do hope you will continue to use the AAWP app.

If the app is not crashing on start up you need take no action.

We are currently working on version 1.1 of the AAWP app, which includes the much requested dark theme and a number of minor bug fixes and performance improvements.

But we would love to hear any other feedback you might have about the app. Got a suggestion for an improvement or features you would like to see added? Then let us know by emailing us or leaving a comment below.

For those that haven't used the AAWP app it's a great way to keep up with All About Windows Phone directly on your Windows Phone device:

The official AAWP (All About Windows Phone) app is now available to download free from the Windows Phone Marketplace. It aims to make it easy to access all of our content directly on your Windows Phone device. You can view our latest content, browse or search for content by section, stream episodes of the podcast and get direct links (into the Marketplace app) for any apps we mention in our content.
