The new Flip View feature is similar to Baconit's existing Image View feature, but in addition to swiping through images, it also supports self text and webpages. It's an effective way of quickly browsing through the images, links and text of a given subreddit.
BaconSync is "a system of browser extensions that work with Baconit for Windows Phone that allows users to seamlessly synchronize visited links on reddit.com between their web browsers and their phones". Currently there are browser extensions for Chrome, Firefox and Opera, which can be downloaded from the Baconit website. The idea behind this is you can start reading a subreddit on your phone, working your way through links associated with the entries, and then switch to a PC (or another device) continuing from where you left off. It can be thought of as the equiavlent of read/unread messaging status for email.
Other updates in version 2.3 include the addition of a go to subreddit option in various places in the app, smoother scrolling, updated graphics and icons, and bug fixes.

But is it any good? Putting aside that many of you will not be fans of Reddit and can safely ignore this application (although this might be a good time to choose a single topic and use Reddit just for that), does Baconit have appeal to the Windows Phone Reddit user? Yes, very much so. This has "killer app" (for the Reddit users) written all over it.
With the continued pace of update Baconit is only going to get even better.
