Windows Phone 8 DevCamps
Microsoft is holding day-long Windows Phone 8 DevCamps in London on the 14th and 15th of December at Modern Jago.
Here's how the events are described:
The Windows Phone 8 Camps have been designed to show you how to build a Windows Phone 8 app. You can tailor the day to make it as personally productive and rewarding as possible. You can work on your own projects with assistance from Windows Phone 8 experts, network with others and also have the option of attending short tutorial sessions on Windows Phone 8 related topics.
WPUG December Meet up
The Windows Phone User Group will be holding the latest of its monthly meetings on December 5th. Full details will be published on the WPUG website shortly, but you can be sure that the presentations will have a Windows Phone 8 theme.

WindowsPhoneGeek Workshop and Code Clinic
WindowsPhoneGeek is holding a "Windows Phone 8 Workshop and Code Clinic" on Thursday November 29th at Skills Matter in London.
Here's how the event is described:
Join Windows Phone experts and founders of WindowsPhoneGeek.com Boryana and Yordan for a 3 hour session on developing for Windows Phone 8.The focus of this workshop is on the code, not a boring high level presentation, and we will dive into a number of areas:
- Code-heavy demo of the new WP8 features for developers
- Techniques for porting existing apps to WP8
- How to port your app to WP8 and how to build your app to run on both WP8 and WP7
- Code Clinic with an open Q&A with Yordan and Boryana
- Those of you with WP8 problems can get personal help
- If you want to start coding WP8 features you can get help to do this
After the workshop we will head to the pub for drinks and continue the Code Clinic with free beer.
