Piel Frama, well know as a manufacturer of high quality cases for mobile devices, has announced the availability of a case for the Nokia Lumia 920. Key features of the Nokia Lumia 920 Piel Frama case include a magnetic closure system, optional belt clip, soft leather lining, and inner polypropylene structure with surrounding foamy material for added protection. The case design is a flip case, with the sides of the case holding the phone in place, though there are cut outs for the buttons and port on the side and top of the device.

The case, which has a recommended retail price of €85, is available in black, brown (tan), red, green, and blue. Every case is individually hand-made by experienced leather craftsmen from high quality cow leather. The case is available both direct from Piel Frama and from the usual third party stockists (e.g. Amazon, Mobile Fun). Custom multi-colour cases are also available, but must be ordered direct from Piel Frama, and cost an additional €38.

Whether the Lumia 920 needs a heavy-duty protective case is open to debate, and given it's already substantial bulk and weight a leather flip style case may not be the way to go. 

But, to be fair, the Piel Frama cases are just as much about style as they are about protection, which is, of course, reflected in the pricing. If you're familiar with the Piel Frama brand, then you'll likely already know whether you want one of these cases, but if you're not, then you might consider a slim line case as your first choice, or even be a little daring and go case-less (the current choice of the majority of the AAWP team).
