Bugfix for Nokia Music local MP3 playback issue released

Nokia's work on Nokia Music is far from done, and following on from the release in early April that added a number of features, including live tile support and local playback controls. A small update has been released today to address a number of bugs.

The fixes is this build are mostly around the support for MP3's on the Lumia handset, and specifically around A number of issues around MP3 files with missing metadata that would cause the app to crash have been addressed. This should also resolve the issue that many users were having with the shuffle function.

The incremental changes to Nokia Music continue to show the focus that Nokia are placing on their apps to act as differentiators in the Windows Phone marketplace, and music is one of the key areas. Nokia Music (and the associated subscription service) bridges the gap nicely to the full on subscription services such as Xbox Music, and of course the free service is an attractive selling point out the box.
