The app is one of the stronger film tie app we've seen, reminding us of last year's Lumia exclusive Batman related apps. This time round the app is available to all devices and has been developed and published by the film's distributors Paramount.
The fact the app is available for Windows Phone, albeit a little later than other mobile platforms, will be en encouraging sign for Microsoft. Now the Redmond based company just needs to work on making sure the Windows Phone logo appears, alongside the Android and Apple logo on the film's promotional posters. Until that happens it's competitors will continue to enjoy a co-marketing driven platform awareness advantage.
