InPic provides another free Instagram option

The number of third party Instagram apps available for Windows Phone continues to grow, a result of both the popularity of the social photo and video sharing service and the continued absence of an official app. The latest addition is InPic, which has been developed by APPLYF, the creators of the popular YouTube client app PrimeTube.

InPic provides access to all of Instagram's key features, with the exception of video uploads, something that, amongst third party Windows Phone Instagram apps, is currently only supported by the premium version of the 6tag. A clean user interface translates into easy access to the browsing options of Instagram (viewing photos, videos, recent activity, and user profiles) and the ability to save photos and videos locally is a nice extra.

The uploading of photo is also kept relatively simple, though there is the expected suite of photo editing features and filters. As with other Instagram client apps it possible to share posts to other social networks.

However, the biggest draw of InPic is liekly to be the fact that it is completely free and that it is not ad supported. The lack of ads help keeps the user interface tidy, but also also avoids unnecessary data usage.
