Just catching up with news from the last few weeks, Chinese manufacturer Hisense has followed up its MIRA6 with its first Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1 handset, Nana. It is the first Windows Phone with dual-SIM CDMA+GSM connectivity, apparently. The Nana has a 5" FWVGA screen, a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB internal memory, plus microSD expansion. Running WP 8.1 Update 1, the Nana comes with Xiao Na (the Chinese version of Cortana), weighs 150g, is 11mm thick and has a 2000mAh battery.
As with the MIRA6, the promos show (again) Android navigation buttons. Hisense, look, we get it, you want to make Windows Phones. But you've got to go the extra mile and at least show us some Windows Phone controls....
So, file this away as something which may make a difference to Windows Phone in the huge market which is China, but which you'll never ever see in other markets.
