The design is very reminiscent of the Lumia 640 and 640 XL, unsurprisingly (though with upgraded camera externals, to emphasise the greater imaging power), and has attracted criticism for its use in a 'flagship', but do note that this polycarbonate design:
- is a lot cheaper than machined metal (obviously!)
- is more durable
- allows for a removeable back and thus swappable battery
- doesn't need a case, unlike just about every other metal smartphone out there
The price is key - the 640 XL came in at a fabulous price - if the 950 can arrive at, say, £299 and the 950 XL at £349 then all the critics should be silenced. What do you think of my price guesses?
PS. It goes without saying that all of this is unconfirmed, so take it with a pinch of salt.
PPS. There's also a leak of the wired dock for Continuum over here, if you're interested. Though Microsoft has said that a wireless Continuum option will also be possible, though less capable.
