Microsoft Band UWP updated to fix sync errors

Published by at

The Microsoft Band programme never really got off the ground, with the original being a prototype, effectively, the '2' being a full product but with reliability issues (though mine is still going strong) and the '3', which would have fully matured the design, having been cancelled, reportedly. If you're a Band user and still using one of these wearables though, note that there's an app update in the Store which may solve some of the 'system error' messages that you might have been seeing. Regardless, this is a good opportunity for some Band love here on AAWP....(!)

Microsoft Band 2

MSPU writes this up as:

Microsoft Band 2 owners who are experiencing syncing issues with the mobile app on Windows Phones may feel Microsoft has abandoned them, but it seems the Seattle software giant does care after all. Microsoft has just pushed out an update to the Band app for Windows and Windows Phone, taking it to version 2.3.31002.0.

The update fixes a synchronization issue where users were receiving the cryptic: “System Error – There was an error. Please try again later.” error.

It also brings the usual bug fixes and performance improvements.

You can grab or update the Microsoft Band UWP app here in the Store
