Dice Shake PWA well worth an Edge bookmark for the Christmas season

Published by at

We've all been there. It's the holidays and someone brings out a board game. Great fun, except that someone's lost one of the dice, or both of them! Now, there are dice rolling applications for most phones these days, so it's not the end of the world, but this is a nice PWA that works super-simply in Edge under Windows 10 Mobile. Just shake the phone and the dice shake and roll too. All that's missing under W10M are sound effects. Oh well, you can't have everything!

From the Appscope listing:

Shake your device to roll the dice.

The URL to tap on or type in is dice.richardekwonye.com .

Of course, you can turn this into an 'app' yourself with PAWA or just pin it 'as is' on your Start screen. Or just add it as a 'Favourite'. It's up to you. If you're confused by the different PWA options then check out my feature here.

Here's Dice Shake PWA in action:

Just shaking the phone is enough to kick the dice off - and they rattle around the screen, bounce off the sides, and come to rest in realistic fashion.
