Launching Lumia Camera quickly on the 1020 under Windows 10 Mobile

It's all very well having your Lumia 1020 now ensconced on Windows 10 Mobile and joining in with most of the modern world. But one of the biggest pains is that you mash down the 1020's shutter button and Lumia Camera takes up to 20 seconds to launch. No, that's not a typo! Happily, this is a glitch and there's a simple workaround, as I discovered today. See my video below and get back to Windows Phone 8.1 Lumia Camera speeds!

Production note: being shot in sunshine, every tiny speck of dust on the 1020's screen shows up! Gulp. These aren't visible to the naked eye, but they really show up on video. Please note that my phone hygiene is actually very good and that the 1020 isn't neglected. Please don't phone the society for prevention of cruelty to classic camera phones....(!)

As usual, click through to enlarge and go up to 1080p/60fps, if needed:

Useful eh? Now that this is out of the way, I'm going to be doing a new 'pimping for 2020' feature for what is still an absolute classic imaging device. Watch this space.
