About All About Windows Phone

All About Windows Phone was founded in 2010 by Rafe Blandford as a sister site to All About Symbian, covering the emerging Windows Phone platform and later Windows 10 Mobile. It became the leading independent resource for Windows Phone users, developers, and enthusiasts — trusted by the community and by Microsoft’s own teams.

The site published thousands of articles — rigorous device reviews, camera comparisons, app coverage, developer resources, and industry analysis. The team reported from Mobile World Congress, Microsoft Build, and other key events, and produced the AAWP Insight podcast. Together with All About Symbian and All About Mobile, the All About family published over 24,000 articles across the mobile industry.

The site is preserved as a digital heritage resource, with the full editorial archive intact.

Rafe founded the All About family of publications starting with All About Symbian in 2001. With close to 5,000 bylined articles across the sites, Rafe covered device reviews, industry analysis, and developer themes, and is widely recognised as one of the leading experts on Nokia and Microsoft’s mobile strategy. Co-host of the 361 Podcast.

The most prolific writer across the All About sites, with over 12,000 published articles. Steve’s camera comparisons and device reviews set the standard for mobile photography journalism — his head-to-head shootouts became essential reading for anyone choosing a camera phone.
