If you are not sure where you are there's an option to view nearby bus stops in a list form or on a map. Whether it is by search, or by GPS, once you've found a bus stop it can be added to a list of favourites, or pinned to the Start Screen, enabling you to return to it quickly.
The app also has a number of useful extras including a fare calculator and the option to view a current Oyster card balance. The Oyster balance can also optionally be shown on the app's Live Tile, which is a handy way of keeping track of when you might need to top up your pre-pay card.
London Bus enters a crowded market. There are already a number of public transport apps covering London, including some which are bus specific and also use Transport for London's data to provide live arrival information, but mxData have produced a polished and competitively price app that is well worth a look for anyone who regularly travels by bus in London.
