Nokia Lumia 925 set to arrive on AT&T September 13th

The Nokia Lumia 925 will be available from US operator from September 13th for $99 with a standard two year contract. The device, which has previously only be available in the US through operator T-Mobile, can be pre-ordered on AT&T's website starting from tomorrow. Like T-Mobile, AT&T are getting the 16GB variant of the device, but with support for AT&T's WCDMA and LTE bands.

The Lumia 925 device can most accurately described as a mid-cycle design update to the Nokia Lumia 920, a handset which is already ranged by AT&T. While there are a number of notable specification improvements and component changes over the Lumia 920, the key focus is the new design and the resultant reduction in size and weight.

The Lumia 925's camera, as with other Nokia flagship devices, will be a key selling point. The Lumia 925 has a 8.7-megapixel PureView camera with optical image stabilization and dual LED flash. On AT&T the device will ship with Nokia Pro Camera app pre-installed, which allows for greater control over manual camera controls than the standard Windows Phone camera app.

Jeff Bradley, AT&T senior vice president, said:

“The Nokia Lumia 925 makes a great addition to our growing portfolio. The impressive camera and affordable price tag, he added, “makes it a solid deal for anyone in the market for a new smartphone.”
