Never mind that the big Anniversary Update (i.e. Redstone) only rolled out yesterday evening to production and updated devices across the world. A few hours later and we now have a new build, '.82' available to people on the Insiders programme on the 'Release Preview' ring. Which means that the next one after this will probably arrive for production devices as well, in a couple of weeks. In the meantime, enjoy some more bug fixes!

Alongside the update is an 'Insider Release Configuration Update' - whatever that is! But it sounds like it's important going forwards. Both updates get installed at the same time.

Note that devices/accounts on the 'Fast' or 'Slow' rings won't see this build since Microsoft is aiming the first 'Redstone 2' builds at those rings next week. Patience will be required, therefore - I doubt it's worth changing rings just to get '.82' and then changing back - just for a week with a few less bugs?
