Microsoft have given Xbox Live fans something to smile about as 2012 starts, with four titles quietly introduced into the "Coming Soon" column. No word on the release dates or any major details, but it's nice to know that the regularity of titles we saw in 2011 is going to continue.

What do we have to look forward to?

• Age of Zombies
  Ported over from iOS and Android, expect lots of running around and shooting up zombies with a tongue in cheek that developers Half Brick are known for.
  
• Bullet Asylum
  Missile Command styled game with lots of neon and driving musical beats - have a look at the trailer below. 
• geoDefence Swarm
  More Tower Defence action from the team behind geoDefence. Hex grids, weaponry, the pressure of the unstoppable enemy, it all looks like the original, plus more challenge. 
• Tamagotchi
  The Japanese virtual pet range has moved on a lot from the first keyring based toys, this looks to be more like the console based games of exploring worlds and playing mini-games rather than a single pet to tend to.
