WPCentral has a preview of the forthcoming Audible.com application for Windows Phone. Audible.com is a service, owned by Amazon, which provides digital audiobooks and other audio content (newspaper, magazines, comedy etc.). App features include the ability to buy, download and play content from Audible.com, Live Tiles for books (1-touch to play content), and a rich Metro inspired UI.

The preview video from WPCentral, embedded below, shows the key app functionality and the way the app can be configured to match the listening habits of the individual user.

As noted in the video it is clear that the Audible.com development team have put a lot of thought into creating a rich user experience, going far beyond a basic audiobook playback application.

The Audible.com app will be available for download from the Windows Phone Marketplace some time in the next few weeks.
