Popular travel advice company, Rough Guides Ltd, have released six guides for the explorer inside you. Covering Rome, Amsterdam, New York, Paris, Barcelona, and London, the digital guides include mapping functions, points of interest, personal lists you can take notes in, and ties into the sharing features of Windows Phone.

Rough Guides feature list goes like this:

• Explore every corner of your destination with a complete city-centre map and links to view the Maps app.
• Find what you want when you are out and about with GPS coordinates for all sights, hotels, restaurants and shops.
• Create a list of your favourite points of interest so that they are easy to navigate back to at a later date & pin them to Start as a live tile for easy access.
• Share specific points of interest via e-mail.
• View all the images within the app in one place with a gallery feature
  

You can find all the guides at Rough Guides at the AAWP app directory and choose your city - take note though, there are no trial versions, which is a bit of a shame.
