Hit Traintiles game comes to Windows Phone

Published by at

Recently reviewed by me over on the Symbian platform here, Traintiles has all the elements of an arcade puzzle classic, and it's now available on Windows Phone. Juggling pieces of train track with split second timing, have you got the planning and reflexes needed to complete each of the 45 levels?

From the description in the Windows Phone Marketplace:

  • Traintiles is an exciting new action puzzle game for your mobile phone!
  • Do you have what it takes to be the best train engineer?
  • 45 levels in three exciting worlds a wait for you.
  • Travel from calm forests to dangerous volcanoes while battling increasingly fun and challenging brain teasers.
  • Guide the trains safely home and make sure you don’t crash!

Here's a quote from my All About Symbian review:

With stunningly clear animated graphics, Traintiles is an increasingly frantic 'arcade puzzler', seeing you rotating track segments in order to keep various trains running smoothly and headed towards their destinations. It's immaculately (and cutely) presented and just about the only negative I can throw at it is that the levels get very hard very quickly - if you have a quick enough mind and quicker fingers then Traintiles is a must-buy.

I rated the game at 88%, very high indeed. There's no trial version as yet, but trust me, it's great value for £1.50.
