Ian Morland updates Giff Gaff app with improved payment options

Published by at

UK virtual network Giff Gaff has a long history in letting users contribute to the eco-system, and this has led to a number of third party smartphone applications so people can monitor their account and usage of free minutes, texts, and data. Windows Phone is no exception, and Ian Morland's free Giff Gaff client has been updated today.

The majority of the changes are around the interface with the payments system - topping up with vouchers through the application has been improved, and the new additions to Giff Gaff of auto top-ups and recurring goodybags are also included.

Before the update, the app provided a lot of information about your account (and gave you a pretty funky live tile with your remaining allowances just a glance away). With the jump up to v1.2, the app moves from simply providing information to really working with your account when you don't want to use their website.

You can pick up your copy from the Windows Marketplace or via the AAWP App Directory.
