The opening panorama shows a menu page, a thumbnail list of nearby hotels, a reservations page (listing upcoming stays), and a my account page (loyalty program). From the menu page you can access the key "find & Book" function, which lets you search for hotels by place name, current location, or hotel name. Stay duration, guest numbers, and rate type can also be specified, plus there's an option to include a corporate ID to ensure you get the possible rates. A search will return a list of hotels, with a mini-map showing hotel locations, plus hotel names and summary pricing information.
Each of the groups 4,400+ hotels has its own pivot view in the app, which can be accessed from nearby hotel or search listings. Each hotel has pages for details (summary information, click-to-call, map link, list of amenities), book rooms, and photos (pictures of the hotel and rooms).
On the book rooms page the app shows a list of the room types available and the associated costs, accordingly to the criteria specified in the search (but these can easily be edited). If you book a room through the app it will be automatically added to the reservations section of the main panorama.
If you're an existing member of the Priority Club Rewards program you can log in using your current credentials, but it also possible to join the program from within the app. Once you've logged in you can see your membership level, membership number, and points. Points can be redeemed for "free" stays at any of the groups hotel. Logging in will also help make booking hotels easier, as it allows you to use credit cards already associated with your account.
The Priority Club Rewards app is well put together, offers a comprehensive range of features, and follows the Windows Phone style guidelines. It is an essential download for anyone who regularly stays in hotels that are part of the InterContinental Hotels Group.
