Nokia Care, a support app that is pre-installed on every Lumia device, has been updated to version 2.0.1. The layout and design of the app has been refreshed, making it easier to navigate between and within sections. In addition new content has been added to the app (e.g. more video content) and there's more market specific content (e.g. social media links and locations of Nokia Care Points). 

The Nokia Care app is intended to help people get more out of their Lumia devices and provide some answers to common support queries. Sections within the app include user guide (getting started information and introduction to core apps), tips & tricks (how to do certain tasks with your phone), faq (common questions), videos (introductions and tutorials via embedded YouTube videos), and about (information about your phone model number, software versions, and network information).

While novice users will get the most out of the Nokia Care app, even old hands might learn a thing or two. For example, the "extend battery life" tip runs through a set of steps that can help optimise battery life (charge battery fully, mute unnecessary sounds, change screen settings, manage connections, and more), and the "where are the antennas location on my Nokia Lumia 925" faq explains that the aluminium ring around the outside of the phone is part of the antenna system.

The content available in Nokia Care varies depending on what device it is running on and your region settings. Some regions get extra information, such as links to official Nokia websites and social media channels. In some cases you'll also get details about your nearest Nokia Care Point (service centre) with map and address information (including a HERE Maps navigation link).
