Nextgen Reader gets theme facelift plus YouTube client support

Published by at

One of the kingpins of the Windows Phone ecosystem is the Feedly-integrating Nextgen Reader. Already with more options and settings than most people could work their way through in a lunchtime, Nextgen Reader has been updated yet again, with a new theme, joining the half dozen existing choices, plus support for launching myTube or MetroTube to handle videos embedded in news stories.

The full changelog for v5.3.9 (over v5.2.x) is:

• New: Quick settings page on first start.
• New: Gorgeous 'Westar' theme. Also, updated 'Slate' theme.
• New: Sync on start options (e.g. wi-fi only).
• Support for myTube and MetroTube. Go to app settings -> article view.
• Fixed: Subscribing to new feeds via app.
• Other bug fixes and improvements.

As ever, Nextgen Reader introduces its new features, very professional; (right) the current extensive choice of themes!
