6snap picks up an update with more filters and blurring effects

Published by at

Well, that didn't take long. Two weeks after the first release, Rudy Huyn has updated 6snap, his third-party client for Snapchat. Bringing over the same image filters he has used in 6tag (his Instagram client), tilt-shift and manual blurring effects, and fast app resume, 6snap has become even more creative for its users.

SnapChat is part of the current wave of new messaging clients that work cross-platform. Until an official client comes along, a lot of SnapChat fans are going to be using Huyn's 6chat with glee. Given the progress and updates with his other apps, this update is not a surprise, but simply what Huyn does.

    • manual blur, manual focus, tilt-effect
  • landscape view to edit your picture (add text, draw, etc...)
  • fast app resume
