textly puts the minimal in note-taking app

Published by at

textly is a minimal note taking app for Windows Phone 8. And we do mean minimal. The app is essentially made up of just two screens, one acting as an index page, and one for adding new notes or editing an existing note. A single "+" button is used to create a new note, while tapping on an existing note open its for editing, with text entry done via the standard keyboard. There are no other users controls and the in app chrome is kept to an absolute minimum.

textly maybe a bit too minimal for some, but if you're looking for the digital equivalent of a scrap of paper, with no extraneous add-ons then this is the app for you. There's always a certain elegance in simplcity, which is the reason that textly caught our eye.
