PhoNetInfo keeping step with hardware releases

Published by at

PhoNetInfo has been a stalwart hardware utility for smartphones for years, starting off on Symbian and moving to Windows Phone. And, if the manufacturer APIs expose some juicy nugget then PhoNetInfo is there to display it for you, the user. Of course, new devices are released all the time, plus APIs advance and tricks are discovered. Add it all up and what you need is a utility that's updated regularly - and that's what you've got here, with a lengthy changelog below, summarised since the last time we covered the utility.

From the Store description:

PhoNetInfo retrieves detailed technical phone and network information such as firmware version, device name, battery status, power saving status, network operator, roaming status, wifi/wap interface names, camera details (e.g. ISO, white balance), number of CPUs, CPU architecture, CPU features, CPU page size, CPU frequency, high performance timer frequency, time since last device reboot, RAM and ROM, web browser user agent, etc. All information can be exported by email and the application's language can be changed at any time.

And you can grab it for yourself here in the Store. It's a paid app, but only a dollar, less than £1 in the UK, so well worth picking up if you think you might ever feel the need for internals details of your Windows Phone.
